Why this FoxESS package
Plenty of storage
41.76kWh of battery means a large home can run through the evening and night on its own solar energy.
Modular battery
The battery is built from modules, so the size is chosen for your home rather than fixed at one size.
Solar sized to fill it
28 panels (13.3kW) give the battery enough energy to fill on most Perth days, with power left for the house.
Rebates off up front
The Federal and WA battery rebates and the STC solar rebate are taken off your quote, not paid back later.
What the FoxESS package costs after rebates
The rebates on this package come to $11,000 OFF (rounded down to the nearest thousand). They are taken off the price on your quote, so you never pay the full price and wait for money back.
Install before 31 December 2026 and keep about $1,700 more. On 1 January 2027 the Federal battery rebate falls from 6.8 to 5.7 certificates per kWh and the solar panel rebate from five years of certificates to four. On this package that is about $1,700 less, so the rebates come to about $9,300 OFF. The WA $1,300 rebate does not change but is limited to 100,000 households.
Three rebates make up that amount: the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discount, worked out on the battery's usable kWh; the STC discount on the solar panels; and the WA Residential Battery Scheme rebate for Synergy customers. The Federal amounts step down over time, so the figure on your quote is the one that applies on the day it is issued.
We do not publish package prices, because the roof, the switchboard and the phase supply change the work on every home. You get one fixed price for your home after we have looked at it. For a sense of scale, our installed systems start from $7,114 after rebates for a smaller system; this package is larger.
Eligible households can spread the cost with the WA Government's interest-free battery loan of up to $10,000, through Plenti. We help with the application.
How to compare it with other quotes
A headline price means little on its own. Put these lines from any quote next to ours, and compare the price after rebates per kWh of usable battery.

- • Check the battery size is the usable kWh, not the nominal size.
- • Check the rebates are taken off the price, not left for you to claim.
- • Check installation, the switchboard work and the grid approvals are in the price, not extras.
- • Ask who installs it and who you call when something goes wrong.
About FoxESS batteries
FoxESS makes hybrid inverters and high-voltage batteries designed to work together. This package uses six FoxESS battery modules of 6.96kWh each on a FoxESS 9.9kW hybrid inverter.
The battery modules use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. The system is monitored in the FoxCloud app, which shows solar production, battery charge and grid use.
FoxESS battery package FAQs
Is FoxESS a good battery?
FoxESS is one of the brands we choose to install, and we install a lot of it. The inverter and the battery modules come from one manufacturer, the cells are LFP, and we handle any warranty claim for you.
How big a home is this FoxESS package for?
It suits a large household (typically five or more bedrooms) or a home with high evening use. If you need less, we will quote a smaller FoxESS system instead.
Are the rebates already taken off the FoxESS package?
Yes. The Federal battery discount (Cheaper Home Batteries Program), the STC solar rebate and the WA Residential Battery Scheme rebate are taken off the price on your quote and your invoice. You pay the price after rebates; we claim the certificates and lodge the paperwork.
Why do you show the rebate but not the price?
Every home is different: the roof, the switchboard, single or three phase, and where the battery can go all change the work. We give a fixed-price quote for your home after we have seen it, and that price does not change unless you change the system.
Can I pay it off?
Yes. Eligible WA households can apply for the WA Government interest-free battery loan of up to $10,000, through Plenti. We help you with the application. Other finance options are on the quote.
Will the battery keep my power on in a blackout?
Backup needs the right switchgear and a plan for which circuits stay on. We look at your switchboard, tell you what backup is possible for your home, and list it on the quote so you know exactly what you are getting.
Who installs it, and who do I call if something goes wrong?
Our own installation team does the work, and you call us, not the manufacturer. If a part fails under warranty we deal with the manufacturer and the paperwork for you.
