Why this Sigenergy package
The biggest rebate we offer
With the Federal battery discount, the STC solar rebate and the WA battery rebate, this package carries more rebate than any other package we sell.
Room to grow
Modules stack on the same controller, so a household that adds an EV or a pool later can add storage without starting again.
Big solar to fill a big battery
A large array means the battery can fill on most Perth days, even in winter, and you still have solar to spare for the house during the day.
One app for everything
Solar, battery and grid use in one place, so you can see the savings and spot a problem early.
What the Sigenergy package costs after rebates
The rebates on this package come to $12,000 OFF (rounded down to the nearest thousand). They are taken off the price on your quote, so you never pay the full price and wait for money back.
Install before 31 December 2026 and keep about $1,900 more. On 1 January 2027 the Federal battery rebate falls from 6.8 to 5.7 certificates per kWh and the solar panel rebate from five years of certificates to four. On this package that is about $1,900 less, so the rebates come to about $10,300 OFF. The WA $1,300 rebate does not change but is limited to 100,000 households.
Three rebates make up that amount: the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discount, worked out on the battery's usable kWh; the STC discount on the solar panels; and the WA Residential Battery Scheme rebate for Synergy customers. The Federal amounts step down over time, so the figure on your quote is the one that applies on the day it is issued.
We do not publish package prices, because the roof, the switchboard and the phase supply change the work on every home. You get one fixed price for your home after we have looked at it. For a sense of scale, our installed systems start from $7,114 after rebates for a smaller system; this package is larger.
Eligible households can spread the cost with the WA Government's interest-free battery loan of up to $10,000, through Plenti. We help with the application.
How to compare it with other quotes
A headline price means little on its own. Put these lines from any quote next to ours, and compare the price after rebates per kWh of usable battery.
| Check on any quote | This Sigenergy package |
|---|---|
| Usable battery size | 45.2kWh |
| Inverter | Sigen Energy Controller 12kW |
| Solar | 17.1kW (36 panels) |
| Rebates | $12,000 OFF, taken off the quote |
| Installation and approvals | Included in the one fixed price |
| Who installs it | Our own installation team |
| Warranty claims | You call us; we deal with the manufacturer |
- • Check the battery size is the usable kWh, not the nominal size.
- • Check the rebates are taken off the price, not left for you to claim.
- • Check installation, the switchboard work and the grid approvals are in the price, not extras.
- • Ask who installs it and who you call when something goes wrong.
About Sigenergy batteries
Sigenergy's SigenStor is a modular system: a Sigen Energy Controller (the hybrid inverter) with battery modules stacked beside it. You can start with the size you need and add modules later.
The batteries use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, the chemistry most home batteries in Australia now use for its long cycle life and thermal stability. The system is monitored in the mySigen app, so you can see what your panels make, what the battery holds and what you draw from the grid.
Sigenergy battery package FAQs
Is Sigenergy a good battery?
Sigenergy is one of the battery brands we choose to install. The SigenStor system is modular, uses LFP cells, and the controller, battery and app come from one manufacturer, which keeps support simple. We are happy to explain how it compares with our GoodWe and FoxESS packages for your home.
How big a home is this Sigenergy package for?
It suits a large household (typically five or more bedrooms) or a home with high evening use: ducted air conditioning, a pool pump, or an electric vehicle. If your use is lower, we will quote a smaller Sigenergy system rather than sell you storage you will not use.
Are the rebates already taken off the Sigenergy package?
Yes. The Federal battery discount (Cheaper Home Batteries Program), the STC solar rebate and the WA Residential Battery Scheme rebate are taken off the price on your quote and your invoice. You pay the price after rebates; we claim the certificates and lodge the paperwork.
Why do you show the rebate but not the price?
Every home is different: the roof, the switchboard, single or three phase, and where the battery can go all change the work. We give a fixed-price quote for your home after we have seen it, and that price does not change unless you change the system.
Can I pay it off?
Yes. Eligible WA households can apply for the WA Government interest-free battery loan of up to $10,000, through Plenti. We help you with the application. Other finance options are on the quote.
Will the battery keep my power on in a blackout?
Backup needs the right switchgear and a plan for which circuits stay on. We look at your switchboard, tell you what backup is possible for your home, and list it on the quote so you know exactly what you are getting.
Who installs it, and who do I call if something goes wrong?
Our own installation team does the work, and you call us, not the manufacturer. If a part fails under warranty we deal with the manufacturer and the paperwork for you.
